Acanthastrea lordhowensis

Both the acan and the zoas will do better if you separate them onto their own plugs. They're already very crowded.

Great, should have went with my first instinct of acan.

I plan to to split the zoas tomorrow - ran out of super glue today

Thanks for the help!

Right? My "australomussa rowleyensis" somehow became a "parascolymia rowleyensis" one night a while back, but never bothered to tell me. I had to read about it online. They grow up so fast these days...

Sometimes it's hard for them to admit the changes they are going through that affect their lives, it' good to have open conversations about how they really feel..... lol

Well I have successfully removed the zoas from the frag (first time I have done this). I tried prying the acan frag from the plug but had no luck. Ended up cutting the stem and gluing the frag with plate to a couple pieces of rubble I epoxied together to make its own island. Zoas have been transplanted to another rock that will compliment my orange ones already in the tank.

Little less than one year into this hobby and still love it!
