Got these zoos from lfs didn't see this at first but when I got home I seen it but it was white So I thought it was dead but now it's yellow and green and I have no clue what it is any help would be appreciated thanks jeff

you mean the thing in the middle of the two zoa colonies there?

a little hard to tell, but that could be a lot of things. could be some kind of montipora, i could also buy it as a birdsnest or something similar.

i always love these kinds of weird hitchhikers. they're always fun to grow out and see what they become. some of my favorite corals came to me that way.

i'm assuming the white-ish base is hard, i.e. calcified?

Yes the thing in the middle I'll try and move it and get a better picture but yes it it's hard like a sps.

yeah i would assume that could be one of a few things, none that i be worried would be harmful.

it should be fun growing it out to see what it is!
