Hi what is the latest on the imports ban or restrictions.... seems like very little is available on line or locally

Indo ban still on. Unlikely to change for a while

yep from what I was told by my LFS it may not ever change or along time.

Indonesia, Fiji, Bali, Kupang, Manado and others in the Indo Isles are indefinitely closed for coral and live rock export. No update will be given until January '19.
I can't remember the Indo resort island in the area, but they have recently banned the use of sunscreen products to protect corals.
I wouldn't be surprised if Australia starts banning coral exports in the future imo.
