its a 125 g skimmer i cant get the microbubbles from getting to the display tank i even try to put the return of the skimmer back tru the top of the wet and dry...and still have bubbles getting to my tank can i buy a better skimmer the dosent have this problem...thanks

is the skimmer new? Many skimmers have a break in period where micro bubbles will be put into the tank until all the oils from manufacturing is off. ( sometimes takes a couple days to a couple weeks depending on skimmer)

I used a CSS 125 for a while on my tank. They are decent skimmers they just need some tweaking hear and there. You can buy a better skimmer if you want but there is still going to be the mirco bubble issue. Are there baffles in your sump? Are you seeing the bubbles enter the display through the return? Is it possible a PH is pulling air into the DT and causing microbubbles?

You can see the bubble diffuser I built, maybe try something like that. Its almost totally effective but there are some micro bubbles:

Danny1496 what micron sock did you have on the css?

I agree with with the baove that those bubble diffusers can work

Also try a youtube search for css or something similar and you will find some vids of homemade bubble traps or diffusers.
