Coral pack or individual corals

When I add my first coral(s) is it best to start with just one or two corals or it better to purchase a coral pack with 4 or five corals?

If your sure about the tank, water on point to NSW, a pack tends to be cheaper.
Just watch though, sometimes they like to include frags that have a short time in captivity.
While there is likely exceptions, many of the flowerpot corals last only 6-12 months. These I stay clear from, longest one I ever had was 16 months.

I'd start with a single piece and then wait a month or so, if it does well go ahead and cram your tank full of coral.

It depends on the type of coral. If your tank is cycled and your parameters are good, you'd probably do fine with an LPS or softie pack. I would not add SPS until your tank is more mature though. I bought an LPS pack from WWCs not long ago and it was a pretty good deal. They were all common LPS corals, but the price was good and they're all thriving. I added them to a somewhat new tank.

Just give a little time between each few pieces or pack for the tank to adjust to the new levels of export...
