Coral Pics with my Canon XSi & question

Hey guys, this is my first post here :) Just wanted to share some pictures from my XSi that I took today (this is with the original kit lens). I also wanted to see, which macro lens would you guys more experienced in photography recommend for me to get? I have been looking at the canon 100mm f/2.8 and the sigma 150mm f/2.8 macro lenses. Which would you choose over the other and why? Or is there another lens that I am skipping over? (Please don't refer me to the $1000+ ones... well... unless you want to buy it for me ;) ) Thanks in advance for your responses. Constructive criticism welcomed!

I stand fast that Canon shooters should get the Canon 100mm f/2.8. This wonderful piece of glass has stood the test of time and is world renowned as one of the best lenses out there.

The Sigma 150mm f/2.8 isn't a bad lens. This is a true macro and would probably do a wonderful job. The extra 50mm may come in handy as well.

Thanks airdog :p

Thanks for your input TS. The tank is only a little more than a month old now, and doing really well. I hope to have more/better shots when I pick up a macro lens. I live in Altamonte Springs, just NE of Orlando. Probably too close to WWC for my own good...

ditto for the Canon 100mm f2.8. I use one with an XTi and that lens is worth every penny. One suggestion, always use a tripod. Unless i'm shooting outside in the broad daylight, it's hard to get sharp images when I'm zoomed in real tight without a tripod.
here's a copepod pic i took. Untouched. That thing was TINY.

I am a professional wedding photographer and if you are only shooting tank shots then the sigma would be grate. However if you are going to use it for more than that I would suggest the canon. With the sigma you will run into slower focus and sometimes difficult auto focusing all together.
