Coral Rx Pro dating

I just got a bottle of Coral Rx Pro in yesterday, and it expires in May. This is the first time I've bought it. Does this stuff have a really short shelf life, or did I get an old bottle.

It turns out that the seller was shipped some older bottles. They are taking care of it.

No, I have not used Revive. I've been using Marine Melafix. It works well, but it stinks my house up like menthol.

I bought a bottle of Coral RX Pro from TB Aquatics via Amazon and the bottle expires in 3.5 months. They also placed a label over the expiration date perhaps to conceal it. I emailed the manufacturer to see what the expiration dates are on a new bottle. After I hear back from them I'll proceed accordingly.

I spoke to the manufacturer today and they said new bottles carry a 1 year expiration date. Even though they didn't sell it to me directly they're going to send me a replacement bottle with a longer expiration date. Very nice of them to do that.
