Coral RX

I bought a bottle of Coral RX and didn't realize it had an expiration date of 6/21/2016 on the bottle. I know I still have some time, but has anyone ever continued to use this stuff past the expiration date?

Or would you toss it after that time and buy new?

I can't really help much, other than using the product a year after the expiration, works fine still. I still use the amount the instructions recommend to use.

I thought there would be no way i could finish the bottle by the 6 month expiration date. .... i was wrong. i finished it in about 4 months. Buying a few frags here and there really ate it up quickly.

I forgot to mention, i wont be using coral rx any more. One unwanted hitchhicker still made it through the treatment. I found a 1 inch crab molt a couple of weeks ago ( still havent seen the crab itself). That crab can only have come in on a coral since i used all dry rock. It must have been tiny since i scan really close at the frags. Who knows it could have been an egg.
Bayer seems to be what most are using and ill go that route myself next coral addition.

I used bayer for my three corals that I do have. Nothing came off in the dip, so I assumed they were all good corals. I bought coral rx as another option. It only cost me $6 for a 8oz bottle so what do I have to lose..........
