coraline algae eaters?

So, I am getting really tired of all the coraline algae that gets all over my glass. Is there anything out there that will eat the stuff? I have read that urchins do, but I worry that I might not be able to keep one very long because it's just a 10 gallon, and it would outgrow it quickly. Also, I have heard they are bulldozers and will knock everything over.

Any ideas besides the chore of regular scraping?

Chitons will eat it, but they wont completely clean it off. Regular scraping is probably the only best way to keep it off the glass.

I used to employ blue tuxedo urchins (Mespilia globulus) to eat it. Their feeding makes a nice mixture of colored corallines.

In my experience, the urchins will ignore your glass and only eat the coraline off your rocks... or at least mine did that to mess with me (I bet they had a good laugh over that)

I wouldn't get an urchin for a 10 gallon.

The tuxedos are relatively small urchins and generally aren't that strong either. The only problems you may have with one in a ten gallon is salinity fluctuation, eating too much coralline, or knocking stuff over (the latter two even happen in larger tanks, though). I would assume if you make sure to top off the tank, use your judgement as far as the amount of coralline present (i.e. make sure there is enough), and glue your corals down you should be fine.
What I meant earlier is that their feeding allows many different types to start growing, instead of just purple or pink types.
