Coraline algae?

Hi All,

First time post.

Could anyone tell me if this is Coraline algae? It's hard to the touch and not slimy. Could it be anything else? Just above the mushroom on the rock.

Looks more like cyano from here but if you say its hard to the touch I believe you and then it would likely be coralline..

I'll have another feel tomorrow and see what it does, last time it was hard and tough to scrape off.

If it's cyano what's the best thing I can do in your opinion?

Siphon it out during routine water changes and do a 3 day lights out every couple weeks until it clears..
