Corals are suffering bad, Electrical Question...

I have a 12 gallon nano that has been running for 4 years. Last winter our single fish died since then we have had a reef only tank with a cleaner shrimp. About 4 months ago I noticed my corals "suffering", just not looking well. We have lots of zoas and mushrooms, and a big leather toadstool. 6-8 weeks ago they started looking really bad and shrinking until they are nearly all gone. (leather shrunk from 8 inches across to about 1 inch)

For the 4 months I have been monitoring water quality, doing changes and cannot find anything out of spec. I have bought new test equipment, and have had my local shop run tests, water parameters are perfect.

Talking to them today they mentioned checking for electrical issues in the water. I don't believe I have these (I will check to be sure), but on my drive home something hit me. Sometime in the last 6 months we moved our tank to a new location. That location happens to be against a wall that on the other side houses the house's electrical panel. Could this be my issue? I understand move it and see if things improve, but I'm interested in understanding if this could in fact be what my problem is, or should I keep digging. Ive been banging my head on this one for a while with no forward progress. This explanation makes sense, but does the "science" behind it add up?

Thanks to anyone with electrical experience that can shed some light on this, or anyone that has other suggestions (I have read all the other threads on suggestions but could find nothing suggesting a wall full of wires could be my issue).

Someone else will probably chime in on the electrical concern, but my first thought was that I've heard corals don't do well long term with no fish in the tank. I think it's something about the waste that fish produce that the coral needs.
