Corals closing up at night

So I have been dealing with this for a while and didn't think it was a problem. When the lights go out all my corals close up. However, everywhere I have read says they normally all open up at night. I have both SPS/LPS and mushrooms/zoa's and just about all of them do it. Is there a problem maybe a chemical pH shift causing them to be unhappy. Any thought thanks

ive never had any zoas/palys that dont close at night, as w/ most softies. it is fine. LPS tend to shrink and extend feeding tentacles, which look like they are "closing up."
