Corals more tolerant than previously thought

Well, if the seas warm up to 86, then I can replant the reefs with my Monti caps and digitatas that are growing just fine in my nano that's baking under a 150w halide :p

My old nano hit those temps once or twice and the coral didn't die. Ocean water will always be of a higher quality even if the temp swings.

We took this picture off of Pompano Beach this past weekend. Water was 84 degrees.

Holy crap that's awesome! I've been diving half a dozen times now off the coast here and yet to see decent visibility or any corals that look cool. Lots of crappy gorgonians and seafans, some cool angelfish, lots of that brown hair shisse, but never anything cool like those acroporas or the zoanthid type mat things.
