There is an empty corner in my house that is screeming for a new tank I am not normally a fan of corner tanks, but I think a 70-120g would be great here. Please share your suggestions and experiences!
hi-m i have a jewel trigon 350 ltr corner tank, its 5 foot around the front and the other 2 sides are around 3 and a half feet ish, its 2 feet deep, its a nice tank and im glad i bought it, the negatives are, (1) its hard to fit a decent sump/refugium under due to the middle support, (2)its awkward to fit in the living rock in and the overall look is different from the normal rectangle tanks you would normally see,(3) its hard to fit in lighting, the positives are the fact it sits nicely in the corner out of the way and is sort of discreet and fits in with the room, (in our house anyhow) it is also attractive when viewed because of the large front glass, its personal choice really, we did not have the room for a rectangle tank so the corner was good for us, if i had the room though i would not have bought it because of the sump/refugium bit still overall its a good piece of kit
hmm... the sump could be a problem. I am aware that the smaller ones have this issue, but was hoping as size went up, the problem was less of a problem.
