Lately I have noticed my rocks getting whitish. It's as if the corralline have died and left their skeleton there. My calcium and alkalinity got low once (<400 and 8dKH) but I started dosing the tank with Kent Marine calcium. It was low, but not too much as to cause drastic changes. I have also been getting lots of hair algea. Besides this, I have added 2 more T5 bulbs for a total of 4-54watt T5. I have also changed spectrums from 18000k to a 10000K, 2 actinics, and a 6700K. Corralline, however, seems to be growing in the sump where I have a CFL bulb=low light, strange
Could it be the change in light intensity or the hair algea growth? and will it ever come back?
