What kind of corals do you have, what kind of flow do you have and what kind of bulb's, reflectors, ballasts are you using. How old are the mh's. The more info you tell us the better. Do you dose with two part, or have a calc reactor, still would like to know your alk #'s.
How old is this tank? If you have had growth for the past two years and the tank is old, then something is strange, if you have just set the thing up in the last year, then maybe there's been something wrong all along.
