what sites if any do you guys use to enhance your pics? i have a crappy canon s1 and i just got some 52mm lenses, i dont have a tripod and was trying to take some close up pics of my zoos and i can't get a clear one even if i use just the macro lense i can't seem to get a good focus on it even if i put it on auto they all look like crap... ill post some so you see what i mean.. if anyone has any advice on what to use that would be great! i just found a uv filter maybe this will help some? heres some bad pics! pictures 2 and 3 are off the same thing but the color is totally different!

My first impression is that you're dealing with significant distortion due to not shooting perpendicular to the glass. This is one absolutely mandatory parctice for decent aquarium photos. You have to shoot perpendicular to the glass. It also appears you're shooting with a flash, and that's another thing you don't want to do.

Aquarium photography is unlike any other photography, quite honestly. The lighting is odd coloration and intensity. You have distortion to battle with. Subjects are moving, though this type of photography is very geared toward macros. Movement and macros don't mix.
