Everyone wants the peltiformis. Jenn liked it. It's a good thing, too, because it is just one of the many I have added since she's been running back and forth to Montgomery. More time to hide the evidence (or risk losing an arm).

I see a big sea fan in the second picture. What kind is it? Did you have it long?

I haven't tracked down the info on the sea fan. It hasn;t has extended polyps in a few weeks now, so I don;t expect it to be around much longer. I've onlty had it about 5 weeks or so. Got great polyp extension the first few weeks, then nothing... It hasn;t started wasting away, but it isn;t doing well, either. I was told it was likely from Australia and must have washed into an area away from Aussieland. I was told they are illegal to collect in Australia, but the wholesaler that sold it to the LFS had several (as did the LFS for a few weeks-I noticed the one they had in their little display on the counter is no longer there, so I don't think it did well, either). I've got it in laminar flow and have been dropping some phytofeast and rotifeast, but no polyps extensino in a while... That bums me out cause I thought I could make it work...

I got those last two pieces from Larry at Edens Gate. The watermelon is the Larry watermelon. I don't think he intended on selling it initally, but he gave in for me. The Cephastrea microphthalma is supposed to be almost identical to another Tyree LE (haven't looked it up, though-I liked the colors and form, so it didn't matter). With shipping, I paid $80 a piece.

Larry is a great guy... I met him up at the Cinci Swap... Bought a few things off of him... I'll have to see what he's got... Haven't checked his site in a LONG time... Did you try contacting him to come down to the MTRC swap??? He may have been busy, I know there was a swap up his way...

I did contact him (through CZ), but I think he had a swap the same weekend in Ohio (not positive, but Alex (Creetin) had mentioned an upcoming swap also, so I think it was the same one).

Yeah, I talked to Marv about coming down, but he said he busy, and also that there was another swap up in Michigan that he wasn't going to make it to that weekend...

When I talked to Larry in Cinci, he was telling me that he was going up to Michigan the following two weekends... He gets around apparently... Maybe we'll just have to host one here in East TN to try and get some more people together... Not sure we could get it organized though...
