Cowrie and Trigger?

WOuld it be possible to keep a cowrie with a rectangle trigger and melanurus wrasse?

Not unless it was a big cowry, and even then the cowry might not survive.

I think that even with a large cowry the trigger would pester the snail enough so that it would just stay closed up and eventually starve to death

yeah, it might. Coral banded shrimp and some cleaner shrimp do the same thing. They pick cowries to death. Triggers will flat-out crush and eat small cowries, though.
