ps the sox won hehehe

Hard to say with the pic size. Are those 2 long "sticks" his front legs or pincher arms? Is it possible that a giant spider crab be a hitchhicker?
My view point on crabs is they are best served with drawn butter, besides that they are good in a sump.

Weird. I am by no means an expert on crabs, but those legs ain't the legs of any rock or beach crab I've ever seen. Ever.

First thought on seeing the pic is spider crab... real weird.

Where the * did you get that rock?!

Kind of kick ***, really?!

its bali rock that i got at the LFS up north. It was kinda pricey but the growth that was on it and critters that came with it I would do it again. I do think i have a mantis hitch hiker though. Its cool hasnt killed anything yet and I have baited stuff in there for "They" as i call it (south park fans?) to eat and it has not done so yet. there seem to be plenty of little tiny crabs of all sorts in there. just here pop pop click click from time to time and I click back to him. its a great relationship for a grad student. as for pinchers on that other crab i havent seen any yet. it hides in this red plant thing i have that you kinda see in the back ground of the pic. the tip to the chopstick is about 3-4mm so its tiny. thanks again
