Crab vs. Shrimp a cleaning crew question

Can anybody tell me what the best type of shrimp to get for cleaning rocks and such will be. I wanted to get some sort of crab but I've read on here that crabs can end up being somewhat problematic ;) . If anyone has an opinion either way for crab or shrimp it would be most helpful. Or for both to coexist. Or other options? Thanks
Oh yeah this is what there aquatic environment would consist of I have:
2 small turbo snails
1 big turbine ? snail
2 nasarius snails
1 hermit crab
some bristle worms
1 yellow watchman goby
and a few soft corals (xenia, star polyps, zoos, and button polyps)
all in a twelve gal tank with PC lights
12 pounds of live rock
and a 2 1/2 inch bed of live sand
Thanks again for any help

Crabs? Eh, the only ones I trust are the porcelain crabs, and they won't do squat about cleaning your rocks. Small hermit crabs are great if they stay small.

I don't think you can go wrong with cleaner shrimp. Get two and they make kids. Yay!

Theres some hermit crabs out there that just plain amaze me. Mine must be on drugs or Mc Donalds becuase they just dont do much, at least when Im lookin. Ive gone over to a few members house's and my jaw drops when I see there hermits go to town highly skilled, motivated and persistant detritus wrecking crew. Ive seen golf ball sized rocks that were covered with your mix of messies, film, hair, detritus cleaned bone dry within 15-20 min.

Try a cleaner and a few hermits get best of both worlds. Looking at your stock list Id get 1 more mexican or 2 more florida turbos, in that order if possible.
