well... yesterday i added a big zoa colony, a pulsating xenia, and a branching frogspawn. I have big scarlet that's been staring at my zoas all day today, but last night i had a big blueleg who went monster on my corals. He started digging and eating my pulsating xenia's foot, and then he was walking ON TOP of ALL my zoas. And then he just stood there. He seemed to enjoy "irritating" them. could this possibly be a prob? I only have a few hermits, and i know i need more, but they're not supposed to bother corals. help appreciated

There hungry and sick of the same old rock in your tank.

Everytime I put something new in my tank, its defiantly like the new guy, everybody is checking it out, looking for a snack.

I ended up placing any new coral in my fuge for a couple of days to get the "flavor" of my tank, I then feed the tank as I place it in, and sometimes they get by un-noticed.

As for the crabs walking over corals, they will do that, even in nature. just gotta deal with it.

Good Luck.

thanks it seems that my pulsing xenia is ok (although not pulsating), and my zoas are all open (they NEVER seem to close, except late @ night), so i guess he hasn't irritated them 2 much.
