simple answer, yes
Yes there are lots of topics about shrimp molting.
And about crab molts---funny story, there was a dead blue legged hermit in my tank which I thought was one of mine that I bought. I began counting how many i had now and was down one short so I presumed that the dead hermit was mine. A week later I found out that the one missing was actually alive in the shell.
