Cracked my tank

Ok, so I was having my tank polished by a glass restoration company. They got too close to the edge and it cracked on the side panel. The tank is a 300g Eurobraced, Starphire Lee Mar.

Should I send this bugger back to be remade by Lee Mar, or should I have someone local repair it. I live in CA. The tank was assembled with black silicon and the bottom pane was reinforced with a second clear silicone bead.

For the record, the scratch removal process was going really well, until that point.

how do they take scratches out from outside, when the yare inside? very interested as i have a couple i wouldn't mind getting fixed ;)

I would think the glass restoration company should pay for a new tank. They are professionals and should know how to work with glass. I would get an new tank and they should pay.

I say the glass restoration company should be responsible. They should have an insurance company that covers anything they damage.

They are paying for the repair. I had to crate it up and ship it back. Finding a 6' pallet was fun. Too long of a drive from Nor Cal to San Diego.
