critters

My tank has been set up for a couple of years now. fowlr. I haven't really taken care of it until about a month ago. I don't have any creepy crawly's anywhere. I want some. I don't know anyone with a reef tank to borrow sand from. And my local LFS sucks. Where can I get some?

You don't typically buy pods by themselves (not sure if anybody even sells them). What are you looking for in particular?

Your request is a little ambiguous If you can tell us about what kind of "creepy crawly" critters you'd like to have, or at least their purpose would be + what kind of fish are in your FOWLR, folks here will have a lot better shot at helping you find appropriate additions for the tank.

If you are looking to seed your sand bed w/ a cup of live sand from another hobbyist's tank, tell us where you are located and perhaps we can suggest a local marine hobbyist club to contact.

well, i'm not really sure i guess, I just read in a lot of people's post's and it seems pretty common place to have them. I don't even know if I need them, they just sound kinda neat.

I don't know if it is too far for you, but you might check out the Pacific Northwest Marine Aquarium Society (Portland based).
