Picked up my first clam this evening. It is in QT for now, but I have a few questions before I put it in my display. The guy I got it from had a worm and severe algae problem and I want to dip the clam if possible to remove any pests. Is it possible to dip clams? Best product to dip in if so? Other ideas to ensure I don't get anything in my display?

Also, I'd like to clean the shell. Use a simple tooth brush to scrub it clean? Open for suggestions.
