Crocea feeding question

How big does a crocea clam need to be to not need supplemental feeding? Meaning the clam gets all the necessary nutrition from photosynthesis and filtering the water.

Thanks

clams filter feed on nitrates and ammonia. So if you have a few fish pretty much any crocea would be fine. IMO clams only under 1.5" need supplimental feeding. I think I have only ever seen 1 crocea less than 2" for sale. Crocea's are very slow growers, most grow less than 1" in a year.

clams just need strong light. they will do fine at any size providing they have strong light and raw nutrients
