Crocea gapping??

Hi,

Ive had this guy for about a month, and he has always maintained this appearance. Is he gapping???

He's perfectly fine my friend. Croceas are known for their larger than life incurrent siphons

Fairly common with croceas. I would be concern if it was a maxima though.

It looks healthy. I think you should move it up though. It looks like its hyperextending.

i agree, what lighting ( how old ) is he under and what depth??

He is under 14k 250 Watt MH and 96 watt PC's about 12-
14" down in the tank. He also retracts extremely well. Oh and the lighting is only about 2 months old.
