cuddle fish

i had gotten some cuttle fish eggs in a fish and coral shipment that came into my work. they hatched and i put some into my sump and some into my dutch style aquarium. to my surprise today about a month and a half after they hatched i saw one digging around in the sand of my dutch style aquarium, i assume looking for shrimp and other things to eat in the sand. i find its amazing what can live or breed in reef tanks that offer more then just what necessary to keep the corals and fish happy.

That is really cool. How big are they now? I had a friend in Taiwan who kept some. They did some amazing color changing!

they have trippled from their hatch size, i would say they are around 1/2"- 3/4" depending on how his body and tentacles are oriented. iv only seen the ones i keep turn brown and red colors, they are normally white.
