I have an 80 frag tank with another 25 gallons of water in sump. Had an ich outbreak that killed my tomini in a week and spread to my yellow tank. I have 5 captive bred seahorses, as well as leopard wrasse and some lemon damsels.
I pulled all of my liverock and sand (left 6lbs of rock for filtration, and two cups of sand for wrasse) and dosed cupramine. All corals and inverts placed in different drug free bin.
The cupramine has been at a .5 level for about 9 days. My question is, since this is my display tank, will 3 weeks of cupramine suffice? I read that 72 days of fallow for display tank, but what about when you are actively killing with copper?
Also, how long should I leave coral and rock and inverts in bin for before reintroduction? Seachem says 14 days of cupramine, but being this is my display, albeit empty of rock and sand, how many days is safe?
