curing dry rock while cycling the tank

I'm setting up a 90 gallon tank I found a great deal on some dry rock my question is can I use about 40lbs of dry rock and about 10 lbs of cured live rock and cycle the tank at the same time with the rock cure while the tank is cycling?

Curing rock and cycling the tank is essentially the same thing- you are building your bio-filter which resides on the rocks. Although the rocks can be cured outside the tank, if you're just starting the cycle, doing it all together would simplify the process.

awesome that's what I'm trying to do is make it simple as possable and I found the dry rock for 1.00 a lb and for 90 lbs that's a good deal compared to buying cured rock from my lfs which is 6.00 a lb just need to make sure I can do that and about how long that normally would take to fully cycle out doing it this way
