Curious about sea horse tanks

Hi snowdude, I have a 30g XH. Its connected via sump to my 36g LPS tank. The 9.5 mag drive pump is split between the 2 tanks but runs thru a UV before the return goes into the pony tank so probably 300gph. It also has a prizm pro skimmer, and an in tank whisper with rubble rock(for safe haven for pods)and filter floss. It also help creates surface agitation which is important in a seahorse tank. Lastly it has 2 little Rio 90pumps down near the sand to keep food and particles in suspension to help with water quality. Finally I am utilizing a lot of macro algae and soft coral to take up nitrates and phosphates. This tank is for 2 captive bred erectus seahorses and 2 captive bred banded pipefish. No other inhabitants except snails and peppermint shrimp. I hope that helps.
PS. I have a Coral life 4 bulb T5 fixture. Right now it has the stock bulbs but will replace with 1 actinic, 1 purple, 1 10k and 1 coral daylight just because I like the color and I think the macros will be fine with that.

Hi and I although I am new, I think my set up is decent. I have a standard 55g with a 10g sump/refugium. My seahorse are H. erectus and there are five of them.
I am using very inexpensive led lights-not too bright and not reef lights-they like these much better than the reef lights I did have on the tank.
I am running an hob to the sump with a tom lifter pump. I have snails for a cuc.
The sump has copepods and live rock, as well as in the tank. I have live gorgonian and lots of hitching posts made with soft artificial plants as well. I have live sand about a 2 inch bed, maybe a little less.
