Curious Wormfish, lost in the tank!

Hi

I bought a Curious Wormfish 4 days ago

Once released from the bag into the tank it immediately buried itself under the sand under a rock about two minutes later it could be seen poking its head out. This is the last we have seen of it.!!

The little fella was about 3 inches long and very small looking. I have nothing in the tank that could catch and eat such a fish. I hope he is VERY shy and is unwilling to show itself.

Has anyone else had or has this fish? info would be good please. I do not know if this is a hardy fish or not, could it have just stressed and died? 4 days seems a long time to hide.

I only have a 30g tank. See my Yellow Watchman Gobi about once a week.

They are extremely reclusive fish. I really wouldn't expect to see it out ever again. I put one in my tank about a year ago - saw it once or twice, then never after that.
