CurlyQ anemone? ID help

Hello,

I bought my 12gal nano cube from someone who'd been using it for their frags and decided they didn't want the tank or it's inhabitants. Anyway, I've counted about 12 of these creatures of varying sizes throughout the tank. Are they curlyQ anemones?

Do I need to worry about allelopathy issues between these and the various zoos and the frogspawn in the tank. If so, what suggestions do you have on getting them out of the tank?

Thanks in advance!

Reminds me of something commonly called a strawberry anemone or ball anemone (notice the balls at the ends of the tips), although it's closer to the mushroom family if I remember right. I think the scientific names are corynactis and psudocorynactis - one is larger than the other.
We've had some of the smaller kind in our tank before, and we have a few now and I don't notice any problems (although my 30 gal has more water to diffuse chemicals than a 12 gal) I don't think they're photosynthetic either and may even prefer places that aren't as well lit which luckily isn't where your zoas or frogspawn would be. I think they're really neat and actually wish the ones in my tank would produce more, I wouldn't worry about removing them, but you should be able to google any of those names and get more info that I can give you.

Have fun!
