Current USA - Bad ballast?

Does anyone know if a ballast will gradually go out? One of the compact fluorescent bulbs on my current usa fixture seems a little dimmer then it normally is.

Yes, they will go bad overtime. I have replaced many of them. You can find replacements online. Just need to get the info off of the ballast. They are easy to replace.

I'm assuming you tried another bulb to make sure it is not a bulb issue. How do the bulb contacts on the fixture look? Any corrosion?

Yes, I tried another bulb and it also was not as bright as the other side. Thanks for the response! I will take apart the fixture and order a new ballast this weekend.

Mine went out. the cheapest place was from current . It was like $60

You can also search online using replacement ballast for whatever the part number is. Sometimes you can find a replacement ballast for less than the Current version.
