cutting or breaking live Rock?

I want to make two pieces of live rock from one. can I cut or break it in half? does this hurt it? how do I do it?

Yes you can. A good chisel and hammer will do the trick.

Its easy. Just take a hammer and chisel and break it in half. Ive took apart many rocks. It doesn't hurt it at all.

cool, thanks guys. I am just being anal. Dont want to make too many mistakes, and now that I have found this forum, I feel a lot better about the hobby.

You can also drill rocks and piece them together with acrylic or PVC rods. The rock drills pretty easy with a masonry bit.
