Cutting shroomies

Ok.. so i have shrooms where i dont want em. especially this one on my zoa rock. heres the thing, if i cut it, like.. in the middle of the stock, will the mushroom survive? the part left on the rock, and the part i cut, im not really worried about it surviving, but if its possible, i guess i could throw it in my wifes tank. but what about the part left on the rock?

Most likely they would both survive.

If you want it off the rock, I would cut some of the rock off under the shroom so it don't grow back there again.

I recently sliced shrooms with razor off a main rock, the heads already attached to rubble and the stock has grown new tiny head all in about 10 days.
