CV Reeflux 12K

what is everyones take on the CV Reeflux 12k 250SE?? rite now im running a blueline14K.. i am not too found of the color.. growth is pretty good.. just wondering what others think..this is on a magnetic ballast..

is that with or with out actinic?? i will use no actinic supplements at this time.. is it more white than blue?? pics are hard to tell by, and also how was the growth under this bulb?? so far i have run the Hamilton 14K, and the Blueline 14K.. nice pics too..

I am using the reeflux 10k and was also considering a change to the 12k but did not want a blue as in 14k.

I have the 12k's and love the color myself. White with a touch of blue. I run no actinic supplementation at all. Just starting with acros and milles, but I have an orange monti cap that has been growing great under these. All my other corals are doing great with them as well. They started out more blue, but lightened up over a couple of weeks.

he runs with PFO magnetic ballast

The 12K R.L. must be overdriven by HQI ballast or it will be SUPER blue. Even with the HQI ballast the 12K is bluer than the Radium bulb. Here is a pic with T5 420 nm actinic

Right now I like the R.L. better but that may change in a few months if the corals color up better.
