I bought a pair of small chromis at a fish store near me. They lasted me less than a week. After the 5th day, one stayed at the top corner, breathing heavy. The next day, it had the fin nipped a little, but clear. It had been eating zooplankton. I put them in my quarantine tank were there was a Convict tang and a six line wrasse. There is a UV light installed. This is getting really annoying, I have not bought fish in a long time, but about a year ago, I bought about 3 batches of cardinals, every batch lasted me about a week, but I wasn't quarantining them. There was other fish in that tank. Does this sound like Hydrogen Cyanide? or could it be something else?
