Do smaller tanks cycle faster than bigger tanks because my 10 gal tank I just set up with 20lbs of live rock and 5lbs of live sand is reading 0amm and 0nitrites within 2 weeks of the cycle......

If it stays at 0 on the amm and ites then yes. If you do, start with a couple snails and watch them. Did you throw in a little food to help it along some and force it to cycle? I had 0 cycle on my little 3 gallon using rock and sand from my sump.
It wouldn't hurt to not rush out and get them too fast. Maybe casually get around to it later in the week just in case. Did the amm and ites go up then down or did you just test it for the first time?

I would make the photoperiod short, like 5 horus a day, and start off will small grazers, not honkin turbos.

Just take it slowly.

Most of the algae you will get snails wont eat and will die out as soon as you gety coraline.
