I started my build almost 6 months ago. I have a 92g, with pukani rock that I acid washed and soaked for almost 6 weeks to leach PO4, not to cycle. Little advice for those using pukani, when you break up the rock to aquascape you'll be surprised with the amount of dead crap in that rock. Recommend acid wash, rinse, dry, aquascape then soak to remove PO4. The rock and sand have been the tank for almost 6 days, just before that I started to breakin my skimmer, which by the way is going crazy (bubbling over). I've tested my PO4 and what I wanted not to happen is happening, which it is raising. My plan to attack that was or is NOPOX, but I need my skimmer. My cycle plan is to use the Redsea bacteria kit which I have.
