I little background first.
After a year and a half of prep work and study I got my tank up and running Sunday night. 40b with a 40b diy sump. 50 pounds of marco rocks and 25 pounds Fiji dry rock. I acid washed the rock the cured for over a year while I was planning and getting other needed stuff. Cured it in a 55 gallon barrel, did 20% water changes every 2 weeks and about once a month tossed in a large shrimp.
So Sunday night I tossed a large shrimp into filter sock, this morning I changed the sock and the shrimp is completely gone.

Can my tank really be cycled already?
