Cycling my tank. Day 13. Progress?

New to salt water aquarium life and each day brings more questions. I'm on day 13 of cycling my new 58 gallon tank. What appears to be some brown rust algae/diatoms are appearing in my tank and ammonia levels are very slowly rising.

Here are my measurements:

Temp: 76.1F
Salinity: 1.0253 SG
pH: 8.3
Ammonia: .4ppm (been rising steadily over the past few days)
Nitrite: 0ppm
Nitrate: 1ppm (ish?)

How am I doing? Should I be making any adjustments or continue letting the chemistry do its thing? I have not added any raw shrimp or anything to the tank, I just got about 45 lbs of live rock from my LFS to combine with 10-15 lbs of dry rock/rubble. There are about 20 additional gallons of water in play when you consider the sump, if that matters. Any advice or assurances are appreciated, you guys have been an immense help and I don't even have any fish or inverts yet...

I like to raise the temp into the low 80's when cycling a tank, to help the bacteria along

Have you seen a nitrite or nitrate spike yet? Or is the ammonia still going up?

If your still experiencing a ammonia spike, then your at the beginning of your cycle

When you see a nitrate spike and start coming down, do a large water change, and you can add your CUC then and a few fish slowly

With a 58 gallon tank, if you used live sand and 45lbs of live rock, you may have cycled in a few days to a week

You can use the picture icon to display pictures in thread, was going to display yours, but they seem to be a bit huge.

Thanks for the advice, I guess I'll just keep monitoring. The Nitrate and Nitrate levels haven't waivered. I was going to post images, but the s5 pix are so huge and I just didn't bother resizing so I made image URLs. Thanks everyone!
