Cycling, Using Old Coral Heads

Hi! I'm a newbie to reef aquariums and am just setting up an All Glass
54 gallon corner tank. It is drilled and I have a sump and protein
skimmer. I think that I am going to cycle it using live rock and maybe
a couple damsels. I'm open to suggestions...

I have some old coral heads from when I had a FO tank years ago . I am going to use these as part of my base rock. They have been stored in a cardboard box in my garage. To clean them up I was going to bleach them and, of course, rinse them well (I used to do this all the time in my FO tank) before I added them to my new tank. What do you think?

Thanks

First off, I don't recommed cycling your tank with damsels. :)

You can use them as long as they are bleached and cleaned.

The live rock will be enough to cycle the tank and the dead coral will also be fine just as long as its clean.
