Cyphastrea

I want to buy a cyphastrea coral but I don't know how to care for it, so I was wondering if someone could help me out.

All I really need to know is can they handle intense lighting and do you have to feed them like you do most other LPS? Also knowing their growth rate is nice too. I would think slow since most of them are expensive for a small frag.

Most of my Cyphastrea grow fast. At least my encrusting type. The braching Cyphastrea decida grows slower for me.

Most of mine do best under medium light. I've burned a few of them putting them under brighter 400w halides. I had a tiny crumb break off one and land on the bottom glass of my 40 breeder and after a year it's encrusted the glass to the size of a silver doller. And that was in the shade of 2 96w pc's.
And even though they fall in the category of an LPS, their growth and care is closer to an sps.
