D&D Skimmers

Im thinking of getting the D&D Typhoon skimmer rated up to 150gallons. Does anbody have experience with this?

Yes, It is a mediocre skimmer at best, It is finicky to keep adjusted, and when it overflows, it starts a siphon and takes about four inches of water in the tank with it. I don't personally recommend it, however, it did pull some nice skimmate when you kept it adjusted, just too much trouble for me.

I think ill buy somthing else then. I've had too much trouble with finicky skimmers. Thanks for the input
