Yeah I've cross checked with other kits.
I thought the same thing with my freshly mixed saltwater. It's testing at 1300. I have cut my water changes back to once a month and I'm still having it drop off. I have waited days between testing as I was trying to configure my dosing pump to account for the loss.
I began having trouble keeping my kh stable and noticed my mg was really low. Had some stn happen and that prompted me to change my mg dosing.
I didn't use to have this problem. Very odd but I guess I will just watch the parameters and go from there.
