Damaged frag question

Just over a months ago I took my tank down and moved all my sps into my mothers tank about 2 hours away. Since then I myself have moved back to my home town and purchased a house. I just haven't had time to setup a tank yet.


The question is my ORA birdnest got damaged in the move and has recovered except for little spots of green algae on the tips that got broken off. Should I clip these off or leave them alone?

I clipped off when my digitata had the problem. I just to where the flesh started and it would heal over where it broke off.

u can snip or leave... I left a damage coral alone and it grew.out the damaged part

Only thing with letting it grow out is that it had a little bit of algae growing on it. I think the algae will keep it from growing over it.

yea..it might take a lil longer to grow over but it did on my coral

I had that once and just clipped them off. The coral grew back pretty quickly after that.
