Damaged polyps during shipping

Please help a zoa noob out.

I recently received a few frags of some zoas. Most are open, there are a few that aren't and appear to be dissolving.

Do I remove the ones that are dissolving? Does this give the polyps that are open and appear to be doing fine a better chance? Or will they just die off and everything will be fine?

A picture would really help. The zoas may be mad and still have not opened yet. If they are dissolving I would cut that part off because disease could spread to the healthy zoas.

Pic isn't possible right now......... Camera is broken, and have been spending all my money on corals.

Picture 8-12 open zoos, nice dark blueish polyp mat on these, than on same colony 4-5 polyps with their polyp mat fading and turning white.
