dammmm coralife salt

Uhh? Can't understand the first part of your sentence. You always want to put new water im a container or bucket with a powerhead on it before adding it to the tank. I would also switch salt brands to. Instant Ocean or Reef Crystals would be best.

Cocaine is one hell of a drug man...

But seriously... if your current levels are too low, move one of the powerheads lower so the water circulates. (Make sure it's not sucking in air.)

For all future water changes, make the water but let it sit for a couple of days before draining the water from the main tank and transferring the water into the tank.

I have used Instant Ocean, Kent, and Reef Crystals.

My tank seems to like Reef Crystals best. I can only interpret the visuals, but everything seems healthier and more vibrant with Reef Crystals.

Did you let it sit for 48 hours before adding it to the tank?

I've never done that, and never had issues. I mix my salt and let it heat up while airating it. Once it is to temp it goes right in the tank.

I do that so it clears up some. After 10 minutes of mixing instant ocean the water is still cloudy some.

you should let the salt mix for at least 24 hours 48 even better.
As the salt disolves it uses all the oxygen in the water.
